Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the Airport's physical and technological infrastructure effectively supports its operational and strategic goals. This includes managing the development and maintenance of Airport facilities and systems, ensuring they are aligned with safety standards, operational needs, and long-term sustainability.

Duties & Activities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term infrastructure strategies that support the airport’s growth, sustainability, and operational requirements. Ensure the effective allocation of resources and alignment of projects with Airport goals.
  
  
• Financial Oversight: Develop and manage the capital and operating budgets for all infrastructure projects, allocating resources effectively. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies through process improvements or innovative technology.
  
  
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all Airport infrastructure projects and operations comply with current legal standards, including safety, security and environmental regulations. Identify and mitigate risks such as security threats and operational disruptions. Lead initiatives to continuously improve safety practices and procedures.
  
  
• Project Management: Supervise large-scale infrastructure projects such as terminal expansions, runway construction, baggage handling systems, and parking garages. Monitor and control budgets, schedules, scope and external relations to ensure successful project outcomes.
  
  
• Innovation & Technology Integration: Lead the integration of emerging technologies such as automated systems, smart building technology, and data-driven infrastructure management systems. Promote the adoption of innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the passenger experience.
  
  
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key liaison between Airport leadership, government agencies, contractors, airlines, and other stakeholders. Communicate infrastructure needs, project progress, and any operational impacts to internal and external stakeholders. Represent the airport in meetings with governmental, regulatory, and industry bodies.
  
  
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of project managers, facilities technicians, and support staff to achieve Airport infrastructure goals. Provide career development and training guidance to ensure the team remains up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  
  
• Sustainability and Environmental Impact: Promote sustainable practices in the design, construction, and operation of Airport infrastructure. Integrate green technologies and energy-efficient solutions into infrastructure projects. Manage the Airport’s environmental impact related to construction and facility operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  
  
• Budget Responsibilities: Development and oversight of annual Airport budget.
  
  
• Supervise, coordinate training, review performance, and manage timesheets of direct and indirect reports in compliance with federal and state employment laws and Airport policy and procedures.
  
  
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Work extended hours, outside of regular shift schedule, as required by operational needs.
  
  
• Respond to and assist with Airport emergencies as needed, including inclement weather. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Airport Management, Architecture, Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Ten (10) years of Executive/Officer level experience at a small or medium hub commercial service airport.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates an ability to manage multiple airport infrastructures, major capital improvement programs, and project management outcomes.

Technical/Trade Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of construction management, project management, and airport infrastructure systems; FAA regulations.
